The Battle of Badr was an important battle in Islamic history. It happened in 624 CE, near a place called Badr.
The Muslims, led by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), had about 313 soldiers. The Quraysh from Makkah had around 1,000 soldiers. Even though the Muslims were fewer and had less equipment, they trusted Allah and stayed strong.
The Muslims won the battle. This victory made Islam stronger and gave confidence to the Muslim community. It showed that faith and unity are more important than numbers.
